I’m confused on the patterns for the fat-bottomed leaves. For the medium, we have 8 sc, but then the next row seems to indicate stitching into 9 different stitches. How does that work? Also, in the row after the sc’s, do we chain for the first sc or stitch an actual sc?

      Lorene says

sorry about that, there was an extra sc in there. I updated the pattern. You do not chain for the first sc, just make an actual sc. Thanks for letting me know! Hope it works out well for you! Please let me know if you have any further questions.

I was asked to and did participate in a survey for your site this evening. I tried to choose my free $120 value gift and was unable to complete the transaction. I did attempt to choose a different gift, but gave up after attempting my top three choices (heart pendant, handbag, perfume). The other gifts were not anything I wanted or needed, and were NOT worth $120.00 (vitamins, credit score, anti-aging cream!!! I am very unhappy that I wasted my time and will not even receive the gift promised! I would have loved the gift of a pattern at least. I do hope that you will consider removing this survey from your site, as it appears more like spam even though it clearly stated your site name. I do enjoy your site and hope you can resolve this or I will unfortunately not be a frequent visitor and will tell others about it as well. Thank you for your time.

Terri, what you clicked on was an advertisement. Unfortunately I cannot always control what ads are served on my blog. The advertisements on the blog are the way I am compensated for all of my free content. Without the revenue from these ads I would be forced to make all of my patterns paid. You can tell which are ads because they say “ad choices” next to them. I’d recommend being very careful about what you click on, on any website. Most free crochet blogs have advertising, since blogger/pattern designers cannot afford to work for free.
