Fun Fall Headband
This headband is perfect for fall! It has a fun texture and is quick and easy to work up! It’s also easy to adjust sizing on it! Not to mention the best part… A cute button!
- WW #4 (I used Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn)
- I hook
- WW yarn
- 2” button
- Yarn needle for weaving in ends and sewing button
21-22″ size (finished piece will measure 24″ with 2-3″ of overlap for the button)
As worked in pattern, 8hdc x 5 rows = 2”
ch – chain; hdc – half double crochet
Front 3rd loop hdc – hdc in the 3rd loop of the hdc from previous row (which will be located on the front of your piece)
hdc Dec – yarn over, insert hook into stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over, insert hook into next stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through all three loops
- Finished headband measures about 24” with 2-3” overlap of button. To alter sizing, add or omit rows or sew headband further back onto piece so there is more overlap.

I’ve been crocheting for about 7 years and love to make just about everything! I think stuffed animals are my favorites, mostly because I love to see the look on my boys’ faces when I show them my latest creation. My three boys are my inspiration for many of my patterns. I love to create new patterns, try new stitches and learn new techniques. Crochet is my favorite hobby because there is always something new to learn or do!
