Homemade Holiday Love
Christmas Wine Bottle Wrap
Every year we give my in laws a bottle of wine as part of their Christmas present. They love this although I think it’s a bit outdated to give wine as a gift. They, on the other hand, love their wine and look forward to adding to their collection every Christmas. This year I wanted to spice things up a bit and personalize that “boring” bottle!
This easy and quick bottle wrapper can be used for any type of liquor. Really dresses up that bottle of wine and adds an extra touch to an otherwise outdated gift.
Made with worsted weight wool it is also affordable to create. Colors can be changed up in any way, you can use more than two, and they don’t have to be Christmas colors…. it doesn’t even have to be for a Christmas present.
Use the couples wedding colors for an anniversary present or just someone’s favorite colors if you give the bottle for another occasion.
Bonus is that this can really show off your skills and make people think about all the other wonderful things you can cre8te~ maybe it will even get you a few orders!!!
Worsted weight yarn in two colors (I just happened to have Vanna’s Choice in the colors I wanted in the house but Red Heart would work just as well)
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
