I always say how much I love blogging because it gives me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people. One of my favorite fellow bloggers is Stephanie of Smalltown Dreamz! Stephanie is super creative and just such a great human being in general! She has had her share of adversity the past three years. After a long bout of illness and a huge amount of medical testing she was finally diagnosed with dysautonomia (aka autonomic dysfunction).
“The autonomic nervous system regulates unconscious body functions, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature regulation, gastrointestinal secretion, and metabolic and endocrine responses to stress such as the “fight or flight” syndrome. As regulating these functions involves various and multiple organ systems, dysfunctions of the autonomic nervous systems encompass various and multiple disorders.”
You can read about Stephanie’s disorder and how it has affected her here: Living a Crafting Dream. BUT Stephanie has not let this slow her down… she is one of the most productive people I know. Not only does she crochet but she is a seamstress in her own right and she makes the most adorable handcrafted buttons.
Picking which pattern to feature was a toughie because she has so many that I love but we decided to feature her appliques.
Lets get to know Stephanie!
