This lacy coverlet is designed for the cooler spring and summer nights to come. It features an open work fan lace pattern and works up rather quickly. It will be wonderful addition to your handmade wardrobe this spring.

Pattern features Heartland by Lion Brand Yarns. Heartland comes in “16 heathered shades inspired by the natural beauty of the American landscape”.  This lovely name was chosen by April Conner, thanks April, it is perfect!

Materials
625 yards or 2 ½ Skeins of Heartland by Lion Brand- for small.  Additional skein or skein and half needed for larger sizes- color used Grand Canyon-
6.0mm (J) hook
Tapestry needle to weave ends

Gauge

FHDC row 3sts = 1”
HDC rows 13sts and 10rows = 4”
Fans
Width
First Set (no chain between) = 4” per pattern repeat
Second Set (Ch1 in between) = 4 ½” per pattern repeat
Third Set (Ch2 in between) = 5” per pattern repeat
Height
1 pattern repeat/ 4rows = 2”

Pattern is written in sizes Small/Medium. Changes for Large/XL and XXL/XXXL are in parenthesis

First 6 rounds of pattern are written in my seamless method.  If you have any problems following the pattern you can refer to the written and video tutorial HERE, however it is not necessary to complete the pattern.

If you have any questions understanding this stitch pattern please refer to this stitch diagram. Pattern repeats are shown in rows as opposed to rounds but it should give you the general idea.
