Guess who will be judging in the next Crochet Awards?
I will. I am so proud to be part of the judging process for the next round of The Crochet Awards. Find out what this means for designers and their fans.
Last round I was nominated for four categories, what an honour. I didn’t win any but the competition was fierce and huge props to my fellow designers who did!
What’s New with The Crochet Awards?
From now on The Crochet Awards will take place 4 times a year! That will give designers more chances to win for their awesome designs. The nomination process is also a little different.
The judges are comprised of leaders in the crochet industry. What this means is that from now on The Crochet Awards will be peer based, as opposed to fan based. But don’t worry fans… you will still get your chance to nominate your favorites. Fans will get a wild card nomination for each category starting February 16th, 2015.
This years judges are:
Lorene Eppolite of Cre8tion Crochet (ps. thats me)
Tamara Kelly of Moogly
Tara Murray of Mamachee * Crochet makes me happy!
Charissa Ragsdale of Mad Mad me and Mad Mad Makers
Marinke Slump of A creative being
