Enchanted Infinity Cowl
This free chunky crochet cowl pattern uses an interesting stitch that utilizes decreases for a fun look. All you need is one skein of Boutique Infinity yarn by Red Heart Yarns. I used Enchanted, but there are 8 awesome colors to choose from.

Infinity yarn in Enchanted- #5 Bulky, 129yds (118m) per 3.5oz (100g)
GENERAL MATERIALS
US N15/ 10.0mm hook – I used my Butterscotch Candy Shop Furls Crochet to make the Enchanted Infinity Scarf.

GAUGE
4 sc3tog clusters (or 12sts) and 7 1/2 rows = 4″
STITCH GUIDE
ch(s) – chain(s), sc – single crochet, st(s) – stitch(es), RS – right side
SPECIAL STITCHES
fsc– foundation single crochet
Ch2. Insert hook in first ch *yarn over and pull up loop (2 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through 1 loop, creating a chain, (this is an important step but easy to forget). Yarn over again and pull through two remaining loops on hook. This completes the first fsc. To stitch the next fsc insert the hook into the chain made in the first fsc and repeat from *
sc3tog– single crochet three together
Insert hook into first st, yarn over (YO) and pull through st (two loops on hook), insert hook into the next st, YO, pull through st (three loops on hook), insert hook into next st, YO, pull through st, (four loops on hook) YO, pull through all four loops on hookHdc2tog- half double crochet two together, Yarn over (YO), insert hook into first stitch (st), pull up a loop, 3 loops on hook. YO, insert hook into next st, pull up a loop, 5 loops on hook. YO, pull through all 5 loops on hook.
NOTES
- First ch1 of each round does not count as a st
- Ch1 space will be tighter/smaller than the sc3tog st
PATTERN
FSC 60 (RS), sl st into the first fsc to join into round.
Round 1: Ch 1, sc3tog over first, second and third sts, ch1, *sc3tog using the previous st (this will be the last st of the previous sc3tog), and each of the next two stitches, ch1, repeat from * around, sl st into the top of the first sc3tog to join – 30 sc3tog and 30 ch1 spaces.
Round 2: Ch1, sc3tog over the first sc3tog, the next ch1 sp and the next sc3tog, ch1, *sc3tog using the previous st (this will be the last st of the previous sc3tog), the next ch1 sp and the next sc3tog, ch1, repeat from * around, sl st into the top of the first sc3tog to join – 30 sc3tog and 30 ch1 spaces
Rounds 3 – 13: Repeat round 2
Round 14: Sc in each sc3tog and ch1 sp around – 60 sc
FINISHING
Fasten off and weave in all ends.
