Don’t you just HATE pilly yarn? Ugh, there is nothing worse than those little balls of pills that appear as you work, and even worse as you use or wear your designs. Do you love free mandala patterns? Then keep reading to solve both of these pressing dilemmas.
I recently tried a new yarn by Deramores. It was the Studio DK Anti-Pilling Yarn and I LOVED it. The colors were fantastic and the yarn has a great drape. Best of all, just like the label claims, it didn’t have, or get, any pilling.
For the sake of playing I created three free mandala patterns to try this yummy yarn out… but now that I know how great it is, I’ll certainly be using it for some bigger projects.
Deramores Studio DK Anti-Pilling yarn comes in 33 great colors and it is very inexpensive, it is only £1.99 or $2.83 US for 250 meters/273 yards.
It is machine washable and can be tumbled dried which is super convenient. It was the Winner of Best Independent Yarn Brand at the British Knitting Awards 2013, 2014 and 2015 and I can see why.
I can’t wait to make more patterns using this great new yarn resource. Deramores is a UK based company but they do deliver worldwide.
