What is Color Block in crochet? Color blocking is when you use a number of color blocks in a garment or item. You can use this technique in any number of crochet items, from scarves and cowls to basket and home items. Color block is when you crochet one section in one specific color (a block, if you will) and crochet another section, or more, in a different color. Your color scheme can be colors that are similar to one another or are opposite and complementing. The color scheme is yours for choosing! Here are some patterns that use the color blocking technique giving you some ideas and choices.
