SPECIAL STITCHES
Foundation single crochet: ch 2, insert hk in 2nd ch from hk, yo and pull through (2 lps on hk), yo and pull through 1st lp on hk (ch made), yo and pull through both lps (first foundation sc made). For next st, *insert hk in ch of previous st, yo and pull through (2 lps on hk), yo and pull through 1st lp on hk (ch made), yo and pull through both lps. Repeat from * for each subsequent stitch.
Cluster: *yo, insert hk in indicated st, yo and pull up a lp, yo and pull through 2 lps on hk* 4 times, yo and pull through all lps on hk
Shell: In indicated st or ch sp, 6 dc
Herringbone half double crochet: yo, insert hk in indicated st, yo and pull through st and 1st lp on hk (2 lps on hk), yo and pull through both lps
