Hook size H (5.0mm)
DIFFICULTY

STITCH GUIDE
ch(s) – chain(s), slst – slip stitch, sc – single crochet, hdc – half double crochet, dc – double crochet, st(s) – stitch(es), fpdc – front post double crochet, dc dec – double crochet decrease
PATTERN
CH 11
Row 1: Hdc in second ch from hook, hdc in each ch across. <10 sts>
NOTE: You will be working in the backridge/third loop of each stitch for Row 2-42.
Row 2-42: Ch 1, turn, hdc in each backridge/third loop across. <10 sts>
Slst short ends together.
Now working in rounds:
Round 1: Ch 1, hdc in each side of each hdc around. <42 sts>
Round 2: Ch 1, sk first st, *dc dec, 3 fpdc in next, dc dec, ch 1, sk next, rep from * around, slst to join in top of first dc dec. <42 sts>
NOTE: Ch 2 does NOT count as a st.
Round 3-10: Slst in next dc, ch 2, *dc dec, 3 fpdc in next, dc dec (you will use the ch-1 space in this dc dec), ch 1, sk next, rep from * around, slst to join in top of dc dec. <42 sts>
Round 11: Ch 1, *sc, sk 2 sts, 5 dc in next, sk 2 sts, rep from * slst to join in sc. <42 sts>
FINISHING
Finish off, weave in ends.
