The Rockskipper Bag is an easy to work up summer bag. Use it as a beach bag, market bag, or line it and put it to everyday use!

 

The Rockskipper Bag is a wonderful bag that is easily adaptable to colors of your liking. You can do a solid color, striped color work, or even use self-striping yarn.

YARN
Cotton, 325 yards, Worsted Weight, #4

MATERIALS
G hook
I hook
(1) 1.5 inch button
Yarn Needle
Measuring Tape
Scissors

DIFFICULTY
Easy

FINISHED SIZE
11.5″ tall x 12″ Wide

This Rockskipper Bag has a beautiful and intricate stitch design that'll surely bring attention to your bag.

GAUGE
G hook: 16 hdc x 12 rows =4 inches
I hook: 3 shells by 6 rows = 5 x 4 inches

STITCH GUIDE
Ch-chain; Sk- skip; St- stitch, Sl st- slip stitch, Sc- single crochet, Hdc- half double crochet, Fhdc-foundation half double crochet, Hdc dec- half double crochet decrease, Dc- double crochet

NOTES

  • Ch 3 counts as a Dc.
  • Unless otherwise stated the first st is made in the same st as the beginning ch.
  • Bag is made from the base up.
  • Base is worked in rows and then switches to rounds once you start the main part of the bag.
