One of the very first things that you will find in Modern Tapestry Crochet is a foundation on the technique used throughout the patterns to create an evenly and uniformed tapestry design in each piece. Alessandra further explains why she uses the techniques in the book. Each resulting piece, with the technique used, is amazing!
It is evident that each piece will keep you interested throughout the completion of the project, even the big projects such as blankets and throws. Speaking of blankets and throws, the Distant Mountains Throw is spectacular! The colors used throughout make it a visually stunning throw, but, just imagine it in your favorite colors!
Even if you’ve never attempted tapestry crochet, this book will put any reservations you may have at ease. There are some small projects that you can try your hand at, and each project only works with two colors per row, making each project less intimidating with lots of colors per row.
