Fall Keep Me Warm Cardigan Part Three

You are now almost halfway done with your Hooded, Ribbed Front Cardigan.  If you are just joining us you start here.

This week we will complete the sleeves.  In our final week we will add the hood and complete the ribbing along the front… and then you’ll be ready to wear you new design.

 

So let’s get started.

 

SLEEVES
With RS facing, join yarn with a sl st in center st of underarm.

Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 3 or CSDS, dc in each of next 2 (2, 2, 2, 3) underarm sts, , dc2tog over post of next Body st and top of next Sleeve st (mark the dc2tog), dc in each st to last Sleeve st, dc2tog over top of last Sleeve st and post of next Body st (mark the dc2tog), dc in each of next 2 (2, 2, 2, 3) underarm sts, join with sl st in 3rd of beg ch 3 or top of CSDS – 43 (47, 51, 57, 63) dc.

Rnd 2: Ch 3 or CSDS, turn, dc in each of next 2 (2, 2, 2, 3) sts, , dc2tog over the ms and the next st, dc in each st until one st before the next ms, dc2tog over the next st and the ms, dc in each of next 2 (2, 2, 2, 3) sts, join with sl st in 3rd of beg ch 3 or top of CSDS, – 41 (45, 49, 55, 61) dc.

Rnd 3:  Ch 3 or CSDS, turn, dc in each st around, join with sl st in 3rd of beg ch 3 or top of CSDS.

Rep this rnd 11 (9, 7, 3, 1) more times.

Next Rnd: Ch 3 or CSDC, turn, dc in each st to last 2 sts, dc2tog over last 2 sts, join with sl st in 3rd of beg ch 3 or top of CSDS. – 40 (44, 48, 54, 60) dc.

Rep this rnd 4 (6, 8, 12, 16) more times – 36 (38, 40, 42, 44) dc after last repeat.

Next Rnd: Ch 3 or CSDS, turn, dc2tog over next two sts, dc in each st to last 2 sts, dc2tog over last 2 sts, join with sl st in 3rd of beg ch 3 or top of CSDS – 34 (36, 38, 40, 42) dc.

Rep this rnd 4 more times – 26 (28, 30, 32, 34) dc after last repeat.

Next Rnd:  Ch 3 or CSDS, turn, dc in each st around, join with sl st in 3rd of beg ch 3 or top of CSDS. 26 (28, 30, 32, 34)

You will have 25 rounds for Sm, Med and Lrg, 27 rounds for Xl and XXL

Ribbed Cuffs

Rnd 1 (WS): Ch 3 or CSDS, turn, exBpdc around next st, *dc in next st, exBpdc around next st; rep from * to end, join with sl st in 3rd of beg ch 3 or top of CSDS – 26 (28, 30, 32, 34).

Rnd 2: Ch 3 or CSDS, turn, exFpdc around next st, *dc in next st, exFpdc around next st; rep from * to end, join with sl st in 3rd of beg ch 3 or top of CSDS.

Rep the last 2 rnds 2 more times – 26 (28, 30, 32, 34) sts.

Fasten off.

Work other Sleeve the same.
