“e” of The Crochet Lounge
with an EXCITING Mystery CAL
One of my favorite fellow crocheters is “e” of The Crochet Lounge. “e” and I know each other from a few different sources. Besides being fellow crocheters and bloggers we are both believers in natural living and parenting. Having so much in common has lead to us being great friends.
My first ever CAL was hosted on The Crochet Lounge through the Crochet Lounge fb page. It was a fun adventure and I knew I would soon reciprocate with “e”. This is the first CAL that has ever been hosted on Cre8tion Crochet. I hope all of my fans really enjoy crocheting along with “e”.
This Mystery CAL is exclusively for fans of Cre8tion Crochet. In order to enter the CAL on The Crochet Lounge you will have to enter the password “cre8tion”. The CAL will be 4 days long with days 3 and 4 as repeats and just time to complete. Have FUN!

Now lets get to know a little bit more about “e”
How long have you been crocheting?
On and off when I was a teen I asked to be shown how to crochet. It never took… not even chains. In 2005, I picked up some hooks and was off and away on making scarves on my own – simple dc lace or dc block patterns. At that point it was just squares in my head, and I couldn’t read a pattern nor follow a chart. Middle of 2006, I was blessed with my first pregnancy and literally overnight, I dreamt of making hats, blankies and more for my baby. The following day, I was at the store looking through some books and they ALL MADE SENSE. I’ve been hooking ever since 🙂
How long have you been blogging?
I started blogging October/November of 2012 when it finally dawned on me that I never followed a pattern to the dot to the end and I was always modifying them or making my own from inspiration that blogging was just one more step to sharing my passion with the world.
What is your favorite thing about crocheting and or blogging?
My favorite thing about crocheting and blogging is to be able to share the excitement and SEE excitement from finished objects around the world. It’s exciting to see one design done in so many different ways with fiber I’ve never seen!
What are your favorite yarns (brands or types) to work with?
My favorite yarns are natural silk/bamboo/wool/mohair/cotton type blends. Hand dyed yarn are a treat as well. I would say my current stash is heavily cotton due to having so many kiddos at home 🙂
What was your inspiration for your pattern?
I love the puff stitch and am addicted to the butter fly stitch (includes half a sc and the extended sc). Since it’s a mystery at the moment, I can’t very well divulge more information, so you’ll just have to follow along, my Cre8tionCrochet friends! ♥
Tell me a little something about your personal life… kids, family, pets, etc.
We are blessed with four baby souls six and under, two cats, and a fun family garden. Right at the moment, I am challenged with personal growth through my interaction with my kids and seeing how much parents really affect children at a core level! Teaching them to crochet and craft brings out a childlike side in me and I love it!
