My Winter Fashion Prediction
Last month I made my fall color predictions, now I’m going to make my winter fashion predictions. I think fur is going to be the next big thing.
I recently flipped through the latest issue of Harpers Bazaar and there was fur EVERYWHERE. I have a couple fur trimmed designs in process now (fake fur of course). I will be releasing them sometime after the CGOA fall conference.
I often talk about taking crochet inspiration from mainstream fashion and this will be no exception.
A couple things I have planned are a fur trimmed cape, a fur trimmed hood, a fur muff a fur stole and maybe even a fur purse. I’m even thinking some fur trimmed mittens would be great.
But my first pattern is going to be a fur vest. I love the look of big fluffy fur items paired with very simple, clean fashions. I’m hoping I can get it done in time for the conference.
