Sock Monkey Hats on Stitch11

Corina makes the MOST adorable sock monkey hats… hers are by far the cutest I’ve seen. Her blog features patterns in different sizes and styles. Whatever your sock monkey needs are, you will find it on stitch11.com.

This is Corina’s latest Sock Monkey Creation… FREE Pattern

         Neon Monkey Child Hat

Lets get to know Corina:

how long have you been crocheting?   Almost a year! I started around January 1st of 2012.
how long have you been blogging? I started my blog www.stitch11.com in March of 2012
what are your favorite items to make? So far my favorite item to make would have to be hats! But I like making different items.. I get burned out of making the same exact thing over and over so I try to avoid it.
what do you prefer doing, crocheting and or blogging? crocheting!!
what are your favorite yarns (brands or types) to work with? I love working with  “I Love This Yarn” But really what I love to do is try new yarns and textures.
what was your inspiration for your monkey hats? Honestly, I didn’t want to make monkey hats. I had a customer request one.. and after thinking about it I decided to go ahead.  The reason I didn’t want to make the sock monkey hat is because you must admit, it’s over done.  But after making my first one, not only did I fall in love, but so did everyone else! They are fun because you really can make each one unique and add your own style and flavor to it 🙂
Tell us a little something about your personal life?
I am a 27 year old stay at home mom. My daughter, Ella, will be two this Jan 11th of 2013. She is my rotten and sweet princess. My step son, Brennan, is 10. He is the most loving and sweet boy I could ever have been blessed to have be part of my life. My husband, Chad and I met about 11 years ago; and married about 3 years after. I am so lucky to have the family I have. God has been good to me. My husband support the idea of me staying home with our daughter and supports my idea of crocheting and blogging as a way to have income. Now, if I could just hire a maid, my life would be perfect 😉
