I’ve got some exciting news to share with you
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for following along on this journey with me. I’ve poured my heart and soul into every aspect of Cre8tion Crochet and it means a lot to have your support along the way.
How it began
When I first started, I dreamt of creating a brand that truly made an impact on the lives of others. For years—I honed my skills, practiced my craft, and committed myself to building this business from the ground up. It was a labor of love from the very beginning. It was a journey that I would embark upon again if given the chance.
It was all because of you
Each follower, subscriber, and customer who raised their hand to cheer for this little dream of mine… became a part of the business that you see today. My gratitude runs deep for the human beings who have rooted for me from day one. You are a part of that family.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to create this business and to share my crochet journey with you. I am so very thankful.
The Next Part of the Journey for Cre8tion Crochet
I’m sure you have seen quite a bit less from Cre8tion Crochet over the last couple of years. As you know I’ve been quite busy as the CEO for Furls and Crochet Foundry and I haven’t been able to put the time and energy into Cre8tion Crochet as I once did.
The Big News…. It is with bittersweet feelings that I make the announcement, I am selling Cre8tion Crochet.
What This Means for my Followers
Honestly, I’m hoping it doesn’t change much for all of you. Cre8tion Crochet will now be in quite capable hands. The new owner of Cre8tion Crochet is Alexandra Richards. Alexandra currently owns both EyeLoveKnots which focuses on Crochet and OnRockwoodLane which focuses on lifestyle, DIY and recipes.
Alexandra will be expanding upon what is already available on Cre8tion Crochet but I am still the designer for all of the previously published designs. I’m also not going anywhere. I will still be available for pattern support for all Cre8tion Crochet designs and any patterns from A Year in Crochet. I’ll also still be designing and you can expect to see new patterns from me here and there.
If you are currently subscribed to my newsletter you also hear from me occasionally. I’ll pop in every once in a while to say hi, share some of my designs, let you know about other exciting crochet-related things, and I’ll be sharing the new designs that Alexandra has created!
If you were a previous subscriber to A Year in Crochet then you will also be getting three more designs sent to you to finish up last year’s subscription.
Who knows, A Year in Crochet may even come back eventually, now that Cre8tion Crochet will have a new loving owner.
Meet the New Owner
I’m Alexandra, the blogger and creator behind EyeLoveKnots (yarn blog) and OnRockwoodLane (lifestyle and DIY blog)! I learned to crochet in 2013, and it’s certainly my favorite thing to do. You will almost always find me having a cup of coffee and working on a new crochet project, but when I’m not doing that, you might find me out at a local park rollerblading, baking some fresh cookies, or re-decorating for a new season or holiday. My two cats are great supervisors for all my adventures, and make sure I take plenty of breaks.
What I Recommend for you
Even though you will still be getting an occasional newsletter from me, if you want to see all the NEW patterns Alexandra creates, using Cre8tion Crochet original designs as inspiration, then you will want to subscribe to Alexandra’s newsletter as well. She sends a newsletter every Monday.
