I’ve decided to bring to you a friendship and prayer shawl pattern compilation. What are friendship and prayer shawls? In my understanding, they are shawls made for friends, family, or anyone, really, who are going through a challenging time in their lives. Those challenges can be anything from grieving, to illness, to hardship. They can also be made for anyone who is going through a change in their life. Crocheting a shawl for someone is a delightful way to show someone you care and are thinking of them. Sometimes, crocheting a particular item is the a wonderful way to show support to the person receiving your gift.
I have compiled 10 free patterns for you to choose from if you want to crochet one as a gift for someone.
