It’s October! I wanted to bring you a round up that not only included some free Halloween crochet patterns but that was also inspired the colors you see around that time, like whites, oranges, blacks, greens and purples. Purple seems to be the dominant theme color in this round up. It’s just an attractive, deep color that blends well with oranges and greens when combined. It’s also a magical color of dusk. I wanted this round up to have an array of crochet patterns to give you choices when choosing something for Halloween. There are also some cute free patterns that will surely make you happy as you crochet them. Yet, there are some patterns that are elegant and can be used well after Halloween.
This free chunky crochet cowl pattern uses an interesting stitch that utilizes decreases for a fun look. All you need is one skein of Boutique Infinity yarn by Red Heart Yarns. I used Enchanted, but there are 8 awesome colors to choose from.
This round up was compiled by Cre8tion Crochet Contributor Dianne Hunt.
