When you think of the beach and sea, certain colors come to mind that are tranquil and calming. Some of these colors are the muted colors of beige with gold or brown undertones that also include the white of the surf hitting the sand. Some are those blues of aqua, teal and turquoise with dark blues of the deep ocean. Some are even the bright corals of peaches and orange that you find on seashells and conch shells.
In this Summer Sea Colors pattern collection, I attempt to bring to you patterns that pull colors from the sea and ocean. These are serene colors that are beautiful at any time of the year but certainly for the summer. You’ll have a wardrobe that is seaworthy with these beautiful colors that aren’t overwhelmingly bright or even underwhelmingly so. They are the perfect balance of sand and sea.
