I’m totally bummed that you weren’t able to make it to the live free crochet training BUT you can check out the replay below.
Everyone who was able to watch live got one free pattern from my Raverly shop, but I didn’t want you to miss out completely so I have set up a BOGO promo just for you. Head on over to my Raverly shop, put your two favorite patterns in your cart and then use promo code 2ndchance in to get one of those patterns for free. You can also check out my list of completely free patterns.
I also have another awesome treat for you, enter to win a free digital-only copy of A Year in Crochet 2019 at the bottom of this page!
Tools of the Trade
- First and foremost, you need a good ergonomic hook. My preference are hooks by Furls Crochet. If you want to try these beauties out, click HERE and use promo code live20 and get 20% off your entire order (24 hours only, this promo ends at 11:59pm on 12/20/18)
- Stitch markers are a MUST- I prefer using different colors for different purposes, and so that I can match marked sts where applicable. This adorable set is only $6.99 and if you order before midnight tonight they are guaranteed to be to you by Friday.
- Tape measure AND straight ruler (both come for free with my membership AYiC 2019).
- Seaming Pins – these are the ones I use and this particular link is the least expensive that I’ve been able to find.
- If you are making garments you also need to be familiar with the Craft Yarn Councils Standards of Measurement. Here are the women’s standard measurements.
- Patience and practice- you can’t buy these, unfortunately… but you need to put the time in.
To thank you for watching I also have a special giveaway for you enter below to win a free digital-only membership to A Year in Crochet 2019. Scroll down to enter.
