Swimsuit Graph Drink Sleeves

Summer will be in full swing all year round with these fun swimsuit drink sleeves.  Pattern comes in both full piece swimsuit and two piece/bikini style.  Directions provided in both sc and tunisian.  There are also directions for both cans and cups.  Printable copies of graphs also provided.

Advance Beginner

GAUGE
8 sts x 7 rows = 2 inches

YARN
Worsted Weight in two colors of choice

GENERAL SUPPLIES

  • H 5.0mm  hook (regular) OR
  • J (Tunisian) or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Yarn bobbins (optional)

STITCH GUIDE
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
tss: Tunisian simple stitch
sl st: slip stitch

NOTES

  • In single crochet, odd numbered graph rows will be worked right to left, and even numbered graph rows will be worked left to right.
  • When working in Tunisian each row has a forward and return pass. All graph rows will be worked right to left.
  • To finish off in Tunisian, sl st across the last row.

  • Can size finished measurement is approximately 8 inches in gauge.
  • Cup size finished measurement is approximately 9.75 inches in gauge.
  • This picture shows how I count my sts for Tunisian as it was brought to my attention that it is different.

Single Crochet to fit can

Row 1: Ch 17, sc in second ch from hook and each ch across. (16)

Row 2-6: Ch 1, turn. Sc across. (16)

Row 7-22: Ch 1, turn. Work graph starting at bottom right corner. (16)

Odd numbered rows will be worked right to left, and even numbered rows will be worked left to right.

Row 23-28: Ch 1, turn. Sc across. Finish off. (16) Go to finishing section.

FINISHING

Using a tapestry needle, mattress seam or whip stitch short ends together. Or sl st ends together using hook.

Join yarn with sl st at top of seam and sc evenly around top edge. You should have the same number of sts as rows worked. Repeat for bottom edge.
