About Me
I began with needlepoint on plastic canvas (thank you Aunt Arlys!) more than 10 years ago, making anything I could think up – I had (and still do) so much fun with it! In 2014, I learned how to crochet, and started this blog to use as a journal, and share my notes and thoughts with other makers. It has grown quite a lot, and now I dabble in just about everything, but my favorites are crocheting, plastic canvas, jewelry making and baking.
Blogging and crafting are my true passion, and I’m so thankful that I have been able to make a career out of it!
You can also find me on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Etsy, Ravelry, LoveCrafts.
And check out my DIY/Lifestyle Blog, On Rockwood Lane, and my other yarn blog that focuses on home decor in crochet, knitting, and plastic canvas, EyeLoveKnots.
Meet Kami!
Hi, I’m Kami. I first learned to crochet in 1989, resources definitely weren’t the same then as they are today. I mostly just crocheted a few things here and there over the years. In 2019, I discovered pattern testing and have tested many patterns for various designers since. I learned to knit in 2022 by testing my first knitting pattern. I also do some cross stitching and embroidery.
Kami is the maker behind Kami Jones. Visit her on Instagram for crochet inspiration. She is available for pattern testing too!

Meet Emily!
Hi there! My name is Emily, the maker behind Crochet Aweigh! I enjoy crafts of all kinds, but my true love is crochet. My grandmother taught me to crochet twenty years ago and I have been addicted ever since! During the day I am an interior designer for a custom cabinet shop, but when I’m not working you can find me crocheting, working on a DIY house project, or spending time with my family and friends. My greatest crochet accomplishment was making my wedding dress out of thread and 15,000+ beads, and 4 bridesmaid dresses in 9 months!

Meet Maggie!
Hi, my name is Maggie. I am a small fiber arts business owner and homeschooling mom of three who loves Jesus, coffee, and all things yarn. When I am not busy running my business, I enjoy spending time with my family and volunteering with our church and local organizations. My perfect day would be to stop at my local coffee shop and then head to my three favorite stores: Hobby Lobby, TJ Max and Home Goods.
Maggie is the maker behind Crochet Happens. Visit her on Instagram for crochet inspiration, or on Facebook! Or check out her Etsy Shop for some great handmade items.

About Cre8tion Crochet
I purchased Cre8tion Crochet from Lorene Eppolite in the Summer of 2022. You can read all about her original dream, and the big announcement directly from her.
Lorene is an AMAZING person, and crochet designer. I have followed her since the start of my crocheting journey – just look at this old picture of me wearing my version of the Zola Stacked Cowl/Shrug from around 2013/2014! Ever since, I was hooked on her beautiful designs!
When I had the chance to purchase her blog, and be part of the magic, it was like a dream come true! Let me tell you something, and I’m saying this purely from a motivational stand point… I have felt like a small nobody in this design world for a long time. I have lived the struggling artist life watching the numbers grow little by little, been passed up on opportunities, and sometimes really feel like I’m living in the shadow of some of the crochet designer greats, but I’ve never given up. I’ve chugged along, and now am so very proud of being here able to be a part of the Cre8tion Crochet adventure.
Lorene has designed so many beautiful and easy to make garments and accessories over the years, and my goal is just to build on that, and continue sharing beautiful, easy to make wearables and accessories. I’ve shared many over the years over on my EyeLoveKnots blog, which will stay over there, but I am working on bringing more to you here! Feel free to reach out at any point with requests!
