Amigurumi Pattern Compilation

February 3, 2016 By: Cre8tion Crochet

Amigurumi Collage Two

Amigurumi patterns are great for making cute animals, small items, dolls, or anything really. They usually involve a simple, repetitive stitch making the piece seemingly simple but can have complexity added to it with color changes and shaping. They are great projects for beginners and experienced crocheters. One great thing about amigurumi projects is that they make great gifts. Here are some wonderful amigurumi patterns that are versatile.

1. Migi the Whale by Cre8tion Crochet

I’m not sure if this little guy fits in with the rules of amigurumi since I’ve never followed any ami patterns before, but he is fun and easy to make!

5. Elephant Bookends by Moogly

To be more specific, these would be considered bookend covers. Bookend cozies? They slip over the plain metal bookends you can buy in any office supply store or discount retailer. And they look a whole lot better – and more fun!

6. Heirloom Tomato Pincushion by The Hooked Haberdasher

Fun and quick pattern, beginner easy! The Heirloom Tomato Pincushion is a great yarn stash-buster, and the perfect gift for any occasion! With an hour to spare, you too can make this right off the vine pincushion.

7. Fergal ‘Shark’ey Crochet Shark Pattern by Free Crochet Patterns and Designs by LisaAuch

The shark is worked in one whole piece, until the mouth part where the pattern splits. this means the stitches continue in the round, and look better than, changing to work back and forth.
