PS- Puff Stitch
Yarn over (YO), insert hook into the indicated st/sp, YO and pull up a loop to the height of a dc st, [YO and insert your hook into the same st/sp, YO and pull up a long loop] 2 times more, you will have 7 loops on your hook, YO and pull through all 7 loops on hook. Finish the puff st with a ch-1.
Ex-fpdc- Extended Front Post Double Crochet
Yarn over (YO), insert hook from front to back around the post of the indicated st, st, YO and pull through st (3 loops on hook), YO and draw through one loop, [YO and draw through two loops] 2x.
NOTES
- If you prefer not to use a magic circle you can ch 3 and slip stitch into the first chain to create a loop.
- Ch 2 does not count as a stitch.
- This free crochet hat pattern is worked in the round, without turning.
