Edging
You will work along the outer/raw edge of the shawl, working from the top corner, down to the tip in the center, and back up to the opposite top corner. Place a st marker in the center ch-3 sp of the shawl and move the marker up each row.
Row 1: Ch 3 and dc in the first st, *[2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc] in the base of the next row, dc in the base of the next row, repeat from * until one row (shell) remains, dc in the ch-4/tr of the last row, [2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc] in the marked ch-3 sp, working back up the next side of the shawl, dc in the ch-4/tr of the first row, [2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc] in the base of the next row, *dc in the base of the next row, [2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc] in the base of the next row, repeat from * until one st remains, 2 dc in the last st, turn work.
