#3: Diamond Lace Crochet Bandana by Vivcrochets
Described as intermediate level, this lacey bandana can be made to fit any size! Viv included a pixel grid version of this project so that you can choose to read the chart or follow the written instructions. She chose Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton yarn, a worsted weight 100% cotton. Viv chose to use the H/5.00mm hook so that the bandana would have a nice drape to it. Sometimes 100% cotton can be stiff, so if you use a larger hook you can still achieve an excellent drape in your project.
#4: Celebrate Cozy & Coffee Sleeve by A Crochet Simplicity
I know that we just passed the 4th of July, but I don’t know about you… I like to celebrate America all year long! Although these cozies are perfect for the 4th or Memorial Day BBQ’s they sure are cute all year round! They will help to keep your beverages cool in the blistering heat and absorb all the condensation. They use Lily Sugar and Cream in red, white, and bright navy. Grab your G/4mm hook and start stitching!
#5: Sunflower Scrunchie by Alyssa’s Handmade
The Sunflower Scrunchie by Alyssa’s Handmade is an adorable transition piece that will take you right from Summer to Fall! She specifies that you can use any yarn you want, but recommends acrylic. You will need yellow/gold yarn, brown yarn, a hair tie, and a G/4mm crochet hook to make these.
Jessica from Nice & Knotty liked this one so much, she made one for her daughter and wrote a full crochet pattern review over on EyeLoveKnots!
#6: The Dahlia Sunhat by Ned & Mimi
The Dahlia Sunhat is just the sweetest! The pattern is written for sizes baby through adult so you can make it for anyone! She used WeCrochet Comfy in Color Mist, which is a cotton/acrylic blend. She chose a G/4.00mm hook for her hat, but stressed that you want to choose a hook that will give you nice, tight stitches to keep the structure of this hat.
Kami loved this one so much, she made one for her daughter and shared a full crochet pattern review right here on Cre8tion Crochet!
#7: Aestas Shawl by Loophole Fox
This triangular shawl looks a lot more complicated than it actually is! A shawl would be the perfect addition to a breezy Summer night. It has a very simple construction with a 4 row repeat. The designer chose WeCrochet’s Hawthorne Fingering yarn and used about 2.5 hanks. A G+/4.5mm hook was used.
#8: The Meadowlace Shrug by My Crochetory
The Meadowlace Shrug is incredible! It has zero shaping, increasing, or decreasing, so it is very simple for even a beginner to make! The designer used GAZZAL Baby Cotton, which is a sport weight cotton/acrylic blend, and an E/3.5mm hook. She used approximately 720 yards for her size, but the shrug can easily be adapted to other sizes.
#9: Crochet Lemon Bag Pattern by The Caffeinated Snail
The Crochet Lemon Bag by the Caffeinated Snail is so fun and would certainly be the talk of the town! This bag calls for Red Heart Yarn Super Saver and is comprised of 13 squares. You could make the squares into oranges or limes too! An I/5.5mm hook is needed.
#10: Crochet Lovely Flower Headband by Selina Veronique
